Knights of Columbus dedicates pavilion

A generous donation: Knights of Columbus St. Joseph the Worker Council 4215 dedicated a pavilion at the Delaware Valley Veterans Home. The group also donated funds for a proposed pantry expansion.

The structure was procured by John Fidishun, a past Grand Knight of the organization, and was purchased through funds raised by the Knights of Columbus and the veterans home pavilion committee. Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 5 also made a contribution.

In 2010, the Knights of Columbus donated a pavilion for the home’s Alzheimer’s wing.

In addition, Council 4215 donated $4,200 for materials needed to complete a proposed pantry expansion inside the building. Those funds were raised at a beef and beer. ••
